Event Description

In 2007, after 6 years of relentless touring, singer/guitarist Jason Isbell & The Drive-By Truckers parted ways. Over a decade and a half later, Isbell is now one of the most respected singer/songwriters today. Full of southern grit, Isbell’s songs have an introspective side and an unmatched gift for storytelling.
His early solo efforts, such as 2007's bluesy, punk-infused Sirens of the Ditch, was raw, rootsy, filled with youthful swagger. After coming to terms with a dependence on alcohol and drugs, Isbell's songwriting gained greater depth and clarity. 2013's Southeastern, his first album after getting sober, was a major critical commercial success full of self-confessional depth. In 2016, he would walk away with his first 2 Grammys, one for best American roots song & one for the best Americana album, Something More Than Free. 2023's Weathervanes was a collection of songs about the tribulations of life as a grown-up in America.
